Founded in 1983, Children’s Miracle Network raises healthcare funds and develops awareness programs to benefit children in need. The nonprofit organization’s 174 participating hospitals across North America provide 17 million children annually with more than $2.5 billion in charitable care.

CMN state-of-the-art hospitals:

• Treat 98% of all children needing heart or lung transplants,
• Treat 88% of all children with cancer,
• Treat 76% of all children with cystic fibrosis,
• Treat 90% of all children with sickle cell anemia,
• Treat 72% of children with pediatric AIDS,
• Treat children with asthma and accident trauma,
• Devote 60% of services to children under age six and 25% to newborns,
• Train 60% of pediatricians and 80% of all pediatric specialists,
• Educate families about issues such as safety seats, helmet safety and bicycle safety.

Children’s Miracle Network and RE/MAX are united by their desire to provide local community hospitals with modern tools and information. In 1992, RE/MAX became the exclusive real estate sponsor of Children’s Miracle Network and its associates have raised $67 million for the charity thus far. In addition to raising funds by pledging a contribution derived from each transaction involving a RE/MAX Miracle Home®, RE/MAX associates also help raise funds by:

• Staging events such as parking-lot-flea markets to minnow racing.
• Handling the phones at the organization’s annual telethon fundraising event, the largest of its kind in the world.
